There’s nothing quite like a beautiful September drive, winding through quiet country roads and stumbling upon unexpected creativity. The Apples and Arts Studio Tour is back for another wonderful year, now in its 35 year, inviting you to explore the creative spaces of local artists and makers who are opening their studios to the public.

For most of the year, we’re tucked away behind our easels, quietly pouring ourselves into new work. But during the tour, we throw open our doors, share our latest creations, and welcome you into our creative spaces.

This event shines a light on the incredible talent thriving in our small communities and back roads. You’ll find everything from emerging artists taking their first bold steps, to established studios and internationally recognized creators represented by galleries. The range of styles, mediums, and stories is truly inspiring. As an artist who has participated for the past six years, I always look forward to this weekend. While my paintings usually head straight to galleries across Canada, the studio tour gives me the chance to meet art lovers face-to-face, hear your thoughts, and enjoy real conversations about art. Those connections and your enthusiasm recharge me and fuel my work for the year ahead.

So if you’re thinking about visiting the artists on the tour — come on out! You inspire us, and we hope to inspire you to take home pieces you’ll love for years to come.

See you soon,

September 26 and 27th from 10am to 4pm.
