Shipping and Payment

 SHIPPING TERMS

  • Free shipping in Canada for all sizes of artwork until April 21, 2021 due to Covid.

  • Applicable on all purchases    *free shipping Canada only

  • On destinations to the USA, please contact us for shipping fees and rates.  International shipping - not at this time.

PACKAGING
All purchases will be in cardboard shipping boxes (depending on the size of art and value) and are protected to ensure safe arrival.

PREFERRED CARRIERS AND INFO

PUROLATOR

  • Signature upon delivery is required

  • Packages arrive Monday to Friday during business hours

  • Shipping Tracking number will be emailed to you to enable you to track the progress of your shipment

  • Insurance can be purchased for $3.00 per $100 value for artwork valued at up to $2500. This will be charged to the Purchaser.

FED EX GROUND

  • Signature upon delivery is required

  • Packages arrive Monday to Friday during business hours

  • Shipping Tracking number will be emailed to you to enable you to track the progress of your shipment

  • Insurance is not available through FEDEX

OVERSIZED ARTWORK

  • For crates or packages exceeding 150 united inches (length + double width + double depth). In these cases artwork will be shipped via a preferred freight forwarder.

  • Insurance is available for a fee and will be quoted and charged to the purchase if accepted.

 

DAMAGES

IMPORTANT

  1. Upon receipt immediately inspect the shipment and note any damages to the crate or package with the shipping carrierprior to opening it.

  2. Upon opening the crate or package notify us Barbel Smith Gallery immediately of any damaged or defective artwork by calling 1-289-251-2363.

PAYMENT

We are set up with Square payment system. Please call us at 289-251-2363 to process your credit card. 

All payments must clear before artwork is shipped. (We generally do not accept personal cheques) 

We also accept e-transfers.
