The Painting's Story: 

A calm lake just before an approaching storm. The location is reminiscent of the Algonquin area where I grew up and have spent many summers returning to the area for sketching and camping trips.

This painting was recently accepted in the 100th Anniversary of Group of Seven Show with the national Federation of Canadian Artists Gallery in Vancouver.
